DESCRIPTION

The MAYA SVC 02 is a carefully crafted intermediate-level cello, designed for players who have progressed beyond their first student instrument and are ready to experience the warmth, resonance, and responsiveness of a genuine wooden cello.

Positioned as a natural upgrade from the MAYA student cello range, the SVC 02 combines carefully selected tonewoods, quality fittings, and traditional craftsmanship to provide a more refined playing experience without moving into the professional cello category.

The cello features a Spruce top with Maple back and ribs, made from wood that has been naturally air-dried for approximately 12 years. The seasoned tonewood provides a stable foundation for a warm, balanced, and responsive sound, allowing developing players to explore greater tonal expression and dynamic control.

The SVC 02 is fitted throughout with Ebony components, including the fingerboard, pegs, and other key fittings, giving the instrument a classic appearance, durability, and a smooth playing experience.

To make the transition to an intermediate instrument easier, the SVC 02 comes as a complete outfit with a protective cello bag, bow with Ebony frog, and rosin included free of charge.
