DESCRIPTION

The MAYA V200 is an expressive 5-string acoustic violin created for musicians who want the extended range of a fifth string while retaining the familiar character and playability of a traditional violin.

Handcrafted using carefully selected Spruce and Maple tonewoods, with approximately 12 years of natural drying, the V200 delivers a warm, balanced and responsive sound across its extended range. The additional low C string opens up new possibilities for fusion, contemporary music, improvisation and crossover performance.

The violin is fitted with Ebony fittings, including the pegs, fingerboard and other key components, providing durability, smooth handling and a refined traditional appearance.

Designed as an accessible entry into the MAYA 5-string range, the V200 offers an excellent combination of tonal character, craftsmanship and versatility.
